Jacob is a Registered Professional Forester in British Columbia with experience across the BC Coast in timber development, operations, and reforestation. He later led forest bioeconomy innovation and project development at Foresight Canada, supporting innovators through sector-specific and growth-related challenges. Jacob has managed initiatives in lignin facility planning, wood fibre insulation, and carbon monetization to improve fibre access. He brings a strong industry focus, a track record of high-impact projects, and deep knowledge of non-dilutive funding, having led multi-year agreements with government, industry, and First Nations.

Joshua Young is a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) with over 7 years of project management and business operations experience in the cleantech, climate and sustainability, and economic development sectors. He has extensive experience leading complex multi-stakeholder projects and facilitating strategic collaboration that drives organizations forward. Joshua established and led the BC Clean Transportation Innovation Ecosystem at Foresight Canada, becoming the first program manager and managing a portfolio of projects aimed at achieving emission reductions in the transportation sector. He holds a Master of Science in Human Ecology from Lunds Universitet in Sweden and is working towards his PMP certification.
